How to wash lingerie.

You fill a basin with lukewarm water, add detergent for lingerie /wool and let your intimates rest for 30 minutes… Ok, you don't have to take a bath with them like in the picture :-) but honestly it's a breeze, right? The washing machine is (sometimes) an option, although I do not recommend this with very exclusive items. If you choose this option, be sure to use a fine washing program and a net bag.

White lingerie can also yellow. Sunlight, salt water, chlorinated water and even certain detergents can be harmful to the color of your intimates. Fortunately, there are remedies to make your yellowed lingerie snow white again. Place white underwear in a borax solution for 24 hours or add a scoop of oxygen bleach to your washing powder. Ready!

Never dry your fine underwear in the tumble dryer, but hang them neatly to dry on a rack, on a hanger or my personal preference, flat on a towel. You can speed up the drying process by putting the lingerie in the salad spinner. It sounds funny, but when you hang up the laundry, you don't have to wipe any more drops from the ground, and that is GREAT!

As an extra tip, I recommend not to wash different colors together. The coloring on the textile can go off in the water and be transferred to other textiles.

Your most valuable lingerie will have a much longer life and you will enjoy wearing it for longer.
Good luck, take good care of your beauties

xoxo Julie
